Happy 15th B-day Jordo!!

Jordan turned 15 on the 29th of September. Wow, that went really fast. Jordan is a great kid who is a great helper. He loves to play all sports, and really is great at all of them. He loves to drive his mom nuts with sayings, and loves to tease his sister. He loves to text and check out videos on the computer. He is always on Facebook. We woke up to our front yard decorated by "the girls". He really has a great group of friends, which we really appreciate! We are glad he is part of our family and hope he had a great day!

GO EAGLES!!!

Jordan's hard work has finally paid off, he made the school football team!!! We are so excited. He had his first game yesterday, and he played most of the game. He is the starting fullback, and starting corner. They beat North 38-0! Hopefully he continues to get to play a lot, and continues to learn about the game. He has great coaches, and we are going to love this Friday football game thing! Congrats Jordan keep up the hard work, and remember, HIT SOMEBODY!! #87

Morgy is 11!!!

Morgan turned 11 on September 5th! She is a great girl, an awesome soccer player and a great goalie. She is good to help with her brothers, and she LOVES TWILIGHT!!! We are happy she is part of our family!

1st Day of School 2009!

Just a little bit behind, but better late than never. We are busy with Comp Soccer, School football, soccer for Payton and Flag Football, and school work! We now have 3 kids in all day school. Jordan is in 9th grade, and now everything counts. Morgan is going to 5th grade, and Payton is in 1st grade. We are excited for a new year and all the new things that we learn. Other than Morgan passing out while getting ready for school, the first day went well!

Strikers Cup + Shootout = MVP

Morgan's soccer team played in the Striker's Cup this week. They were 4-0, and played for the championship game today. They played really well. Morgan plays goalie the 2nd half of each game, and she did awesome! It came down to a tie, and after 2 five minute overtimes, it went to a shootout, with Morgan as the goalie! Wow, that makes the mom very nervous. She did awesome, and played well, she made the goal she shot in the shootout, but we missed 2 of our other shots, and we lost. She was voted MVP by the other coach and received a game ball, which all of her team-mates signed! She is really improving, and is not afraid to charge the players, and she has the marks to show it! We are very proud of her! Way to go Firecrackers!! She says the silver medal is prettier than the gold anyway!

Brian's brother got married this weekend. So our week has been filled with wedding festivies. Jordan was at High adventure, and Morgan was at a soccer tournament in Park City, so it was just us 4. It sure is different without those older kids. We had fun. More on soccer to come.

Summer Fun!

BJ, Nicole and the boys are moving away. So we decided to have some fun before they are gone. Grandpa and Grandma's neighbors were nice enough to let us enjoy their awesome pool and yard, for a little swim time fun. Missed those who could not come, but it was fun to have all the cousins there together.

I'm a BIG KID now!!!

He did it. No more diapers at our house. Hayden has been almost accident free for over 3 weeks. He has had a few slips, but only when he is too busy playing and waits to long to run!! Grandma asked him the right question on the right day, and here we are. I am so proud of him. He is growing up so very fast!!

3rd Place at District Track

Jordan has been running Track for the Jr High. After sitting out the first meet, he competed in the next three, and did really well. He qualified to run at District, and was on 2 relay teams, the 4x100, and 4x400. Both teams placed 3rd. He was the shortest kid running, and he had the best time on the team in the 400(which is a quarter mile) he ran it in 56 seconds. Pretty dang fast!! We are very proud of him, and hope for even better things next year as a 9th grader.

Visit from the tooth fairy!

Payton finally lost his first tooth(on Boston's 5th b-day. Happy birthday Boston) He told me on monday that something cracked when he brushed his teeth, by Wednesday morning it was gone. He is growing up!

I went and got Hayden's pictures taken last Friday at Target. They did a really great job with him, i just hate that i have to wait until today to get them. Check out our SUPERSTAR!!

Farewell!!

I am already sad. Tomorrow my favorite show will have it's series finale. ER debuted a week before Jordan was born. I have been watching it ever since. What will Thursday nights be without it? Maybe they will drop the price on the DVD's and I can buy and watch whenever I want. Farewell to an awesome show!!

No work at work....means catch up on work at home!!

Today is an extra day off, and since I will be going on a field trip with Morgan's class on my real day off, i better do housework. I hate house work. But it is only noon and I have cleaned the kitchen,mopped all the hardwood, taken out garbage, 5 loads of laundry. Now I should shower, and save the rest of the cleaning for the kids. HAHA!! Maybe one day I will get better at this housework thing!

Sick of the Snow!!!

I am tired of seeing the fluffy white stuff outside. But Jordan seems to enjoy it! This is him shoveling our walks,and the neighbor lady across the street. He wanted to go to his friends house and scare them but I said NO!! I am ready for TULIPS!!

He needed a haircut horribly!! long is in, but his hair is thick, and starts to curl, so it was out of control. It took the buzzers to his mop. What do you think?

Happy plenty3rd B-day Grandma

It was my mom's b-day on Saturday, we had the family get together on Sunday and it was fun to have everyone there, even both sets of grandparents. She does so much for all of us, and we are very lucky to have her. Have a great plenty3rd year!!

The other night I went to check on Payton before I went to sleep. He was sound asleep in his "Bed", I wonder why we even bothered to buy a real one.

The title is a bit deceiving. Today Hayden went to the Dentist and got his teeth fixed. 12 teeth. What am I doing wrong? Thank goodness grandpa is a dentist and this dentist is giving me a professional discount!! The dentist is great, and Hayden did really well. The first thing he showed me was his new "watch", I thought for sure that Hayden was going to be the kid who didn't "fall asleep" with the sedation, but he did, and he is all done. He had to have 2 baby root canals and crowns on his top two teeth. Hopefully we will do better in the next 6 months.

I have been wanting to do something different with Morgan's hair for a long time. But Brian really likes long hair(like his mom's and sister's) I finally got him to agree to try something different. Grandma Nancy did it today. Doesn't she look soooo different? I am thinking I might try the same do. What do you think?
